Many people step into the shop area to find out more about whether herbal medicine could be helpful to them, others come in to buy loose herbs over-the-counter for teas and cooking, some buy potted herbs for their gardens and each day people book consultations with the Medical Herbalist so that they can get the most from the exceptional level of care that herbal medicine has to offer.

The only times when you are not able to simply step inside are when the medical herbalist has been booked for a consultation by appointment. There will be a sign on the door of the shop indicating the time that the Medical Herbalist will be available again. When making a special journey to visit Holly Hemmings Herbalist it is advisable to call in advance to check when the shop and dispensary area will be open for drop-in visits, this is because when the Medical Herbalist is booked for consultations by appointment she closes the shop up in order to devote her full attention to the patient.
